White milled peat
Milled peat is extracted by milling method, removing the top layer of 11-20 mm of the peat field.
Block peat is extracted mechanically by cutting out peat blocks. Our company uses two methods for block peat extraction.
Processing – packing
Block peat is first crushed by a special equipment and then is seperated in specific fractions.
Peat bogs in which «Saukas kūdra» Ltd. extracts peat are „high” peat bogs, which ensure high quality of our products.
