Over the recent years the use of peat in agriculture has gradually increased. Studies are being conducted to determine the specific qualities of the peat and new possibilities for use of it in other industries - energetics, chemical industry.

PEAT PROCESSING AND PACKING

«Saukas kūdra» Ltd. has factory in which operates equipment for peat crashing, separating in fractions and packing in «Big bales».  The size of one «Big bale» is around 6 m3. We process and pack both block and milled peat.
Block peat is first crushed into fractions with special equipment and then is seperated in specific fractions.

In a standart tent truck 24 Big bales can be placed which is around144 m3, but in a refridgerated truck 22 Big bales - 132 m3.
